In The Gang, a cooperative version of Texas Hold'em, players bet on the power of their hand of cards compared to other players and then try to make their predictions.
Players play as seasoned gangsters who join forces to make a daring heist of three safes that are known to be inviolable. Strategy, communication, and team spirit are essential to the success of this legendary breakout. The Gang'' takes place on several ''robberies'', each consisting of four towers. Players must evaluate the strength of their hand without talking directly to each other about the cards, using tokens to indicate the power of their combinations. Unlike traditional poker games, bluffing is forbidden. Players must listen to each other’s visual cues to make the best decisions. The goal is to succeed at least three robberies, otherwise the game is lost.
Compared to classic poker games, ''The Gang'' is characterized by its cooperative aspect and the absence of bluff. The rules have been simplified, allowing everyone, even those who have never played poker, to easily immerse themselves in the adventure. It is possible to increase the difficulty for more experienced players, thus offering a nice progression curve.
