It's a general brawl in the town of Bangtown and it's hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys. The sheriff, whom everyone knows, is trying to eliminate the outlaws and the renegade. Among the other cowboys, there are the sheriff's deputies, who are trying to protect the sheriff, the outlaws who want to get rid of the sheriff, and finally the renegade, who wants to become sheriff instead of the sheriff. Each player will have to distinguish his accomplices from his enemies and aim right! Bang! is a card game. At the beginning, only the sheriff is known. The other players are deputies to the sheriff, outlaws or renegades, but their roles are kept secret. Using cards, but also negotiations and verbal influence, players will play dirty tricks on each other, or support each other, depending on their role and the role they feel the other players have.
