The Flashcards - All Year Collection is specifically designed to accompany children in their primary school learning, one year at a time. The format of this tool allows the child not only to target essential concepts learned in class for review at home, but also to study in a fun way with an adult.
For each school year, from Preschool to 4th grade, the cards are grouped by themes, which aims to help the learner organize and memorize the concepts covered. In addition, great care has been taken in selecting the content to ensure that it respects the child's development and follows the recommendations of the Quebec School Curriculum.
The operation of the Flashcards is simple. On one side of the card, you will find an image or a question: this triggers reflection. On the other side is the answer (in words or images). As an adult accompanying a child in their learning, your role is first to question them about their understanding of the question, to find clues, to check their working hypotheses, and to doubt their answer. Feel free to rephrase a question, clarify it, or even repeat it, if necessary. The idea is that the working period alongside you is fun for the student, and this will make these learning moments memorable and applicable to school tasks. And why not let the child question you as well? They will be delighted!
